Five Kenyans will be in charge of Caf Confederation Group matches set to commence on Friday May 12 at various venues in Africa.

Of the five, one is a match commissioner and the rest are referees whose duties will be crucial for the continental competition.

The Commissioner is Mohammed Omar Abubakar, who will be in charge of the match between Congolese TP Mazembe and Gabonese CF Mounana at Lubumbashi-Stade TP Mazembe on Sunday.

Namibia's Jackson Pavaza will be the centre referee as compatriots  David Tauhulupo Shaanika and Matheus Kanyanga serve as the first and second assistants in that order. Danki Shinana will be the reserve referee.

Kenyan referees include Peter Waweru, Gilbert Cheruiyot, Oliver Odhiambo and Andrew Juma.

Waweru will be the centre referee for the match pitting Platinum Stars of South Africa against Algeria's Mouloudia Club D'Alger at the Royal Bafokeng Stadium with assistance from the three; Juma being a reserve referee.
