Algeria’s Rafik Halliche sees red as Mikel Agu’s Vitoria Setubal spank Moreirense

Rafik Halliche was sent off for the second time this season as Moreirense succumbed 3-0 to Mikel Agu’s Victoria Setubal on Saturday.

The 32-year-old was shown the way out by referee Luis Godinho for a second caution. First, he was warned in the 70th minute before getting dismissed in the 90th minute.

Moreirense - in the 54th minute, were reduced to ten men after Angelo Neto was given the marching orders for a serious foul play.

Hildeberto Pereira was the hero as his hat-trick handed his team the crucial victory over Ivo Viera’s men at Estadio do Bonfim.

Nigeria’s Mikel Agu was on parade for the entire duration of the game, while Guinea-Bissau's Frederic Mendy was replaced in the 80th minute by Alex.

Halliche is among the 23 players invited for Algeria’s  2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualification Group D encounter versus Benin Republic at Stade Mustapha Tchaker, Blida on October 12.
