AFC Leopards set to miss four key players against Thika United

Thika United is currently bottom of the 18-team table, and could be relegated at the end of the season if they don't win matches

AFC Leopards is once again set to miss up to five key players against Thika United this weekend.

The four - Whyvonne Isuza (banned), Abdalla Salim, Dennis Sikhayi and Moses Mburu - will join long term absentee Robinson Kamura. However, head coach Rodolfo Zapata has already identified players, who can fill the void.

“Everybody wants to play, everybody wants to win and that is an amazing spirit in the team. It is a blow that we are missing those players, they are important to us and with them in the team, it is easier to play. However, because they are out it does not mean we cannot play, we have to find a solution.

“Yes, we have players, who can do the job well and help us win, there are no other ways. I have faith in these players, and once they are called to do the job, they do it well,” Zapata told Goal.

Thika is currently bottom of the table, and the relegation door is staring at them with open arms.
