On the other hand, Kano Pillars are looking to test their readiness for the league restart against Nigeria National League FRSC at the Sani Abacha Stadium on Friday.

The four-time Nigeria kings will be hoping for a morale-boosting win with the return of league-leading scoring Junior Lokosa to its folds after his botched trails in Europe.

Ibrahim Musa is focused on putting his side in the best shape as they aim to reclaim the league diadem this time, having gone into the break sitting third on the log with 38 points - five behind leaders Lobi Stars after 24 games.
