'A legend and a gentleman' - Football world pays tribute to Graham Taylor

The football community comes together to express its sadness at the loss of the former England boss, whose death at the age of 72 emerged on Thursday

Players, clubs and fans have begun paying tribute to football legend Graham Taylor, who passed away on Thursday.

The former full-back played for Grimsby Town and Lincoln City but went on to have great success in the dugout, managing Watford, Aston Villa and England, among others.

He was highly respected within the football community, which is indicated by the outpouring of grief following his death.

Taylor's success at Watford saw a stand named after him at Vicarage Road.
