Namibia W 0-2 Nigeria W: Super Falcons send Brave Gladiators crashing

Despite playing in front of their noisy home fans, the hosts were edged out of the African Womens Championship after bowing to Edwin Okon’s ladies on Friday evening
Nigeria continued their impressive outing at the ongoing African Women Championship by defeating hosts Namibia 2-0 in the last Group A game played at the Sam Nujoma Stadium.

First half strikes from Glory Ofoegbu and Francesca Ordega were all the former African champions needed to finish as Group A winners with nine points.

With this victory, the Falcons boast of 12 goals in their three group matches with two goals against.

Nigeria will face Group B’s runners-up in their semi-final encounter billed for the Sam Nujoma Stadium in Windhoek on October 22, 2014.
