Mitko Dobrev debunks rumours of Ifeanyi Ubah exit

The Bulgarian coach has revealed to Goal that he is still the technical adviser of the Nnewi-based side despite media reports to the contrary

The Technical Adviser of FC Ifeanyi Ubah Mitko Dobrev has debunked reports suggesting that he has left the Nigeria Professional Football League club.

The Bulgarian tactician confirmed that he had to do some travels but noted that the chief coach of the team, Raphael Everton has held on in his absence.

"i am still the Technical Adviser if FC Ifeanyi Ubah while Coach Everton Raphael is the Chief Coach," Dobrev told Goal.

"I had to make a statement as regards this topic because i was informed about reports in the media suggesting that i have left.

"I travelled with the FC Ifeanyi Ubah contingent to London for the West Ham deal after which i went straight to Bulgaria to get my work permit.

"That's reason why i haven't been around.

"I arrived Nigeria on Sunday and as at yesterday [Wednesday] I was still at the president's house with everyone to make sure the team achieves their target and everything is normal."

FC Ifeanyi Ubah currently sit in the third position on the NPFL log with 53 points as they battle for a continental slot.
