IfeanyiUbah FC manager Mitko Dobrev has outlined his desire to finish in the top three this season despite his side lying in mid-table on 30 points, six points behind the third-placed Enugu Rangers.
The Anambra Warriors defeated high-flying Rivers United 2-0 on Sunday courtesy of Ismail Gata and Wasiu Jimoh’s strike, and the Bulgarian tactician wants his team to continue winning in a bid to guaranteed a place in next season’s Caf Champions League or Confederations Cup.
“Before the game against Rivers United on Sunday, I told my players that they would have a chance of finishing in the top three if they won the game,” Dobrev told Supersport.com.
“From today, my team will be targeting finishing in the top three places in the league. I have very good players who can help us achieve these objectives,” he concluded.
IfeanyiUbah face Shooting Stars in their next game billed for the Lekan Salami Stadium.
