Halimatu Ayinde makes goal scoring debut in Minsk victory

The 21-year-old was on song as her Belarusian side defeated Bobruichanka on Friday

Nigeria international Halimatu Ayinde scored on her debut for Minsk in their 3-0 victory against Bobruichanka on Friday afternoon at the Stadion FK Minsk.

First half strikes from Yaliya Duben and Polina Beshten plus Ayinde's second half strike helped the title holders open a three-point gap atop of the Belarus Women's Premier League table.

Ayinde, who was snapped up by Minsk after her exit from New York Western Flash in June has featured in their Uefa Women's Champions League games.

She would be hoping to increase her goal haul when her side face Zorka-BDU on September 7.
