OFFICIAL: Hapoel Tel Aviv sign John Chibuike

The Red Demons have secured the services of the Nigerian striker as they continue to push for a Championship berth.

Hapoel Tel Aviv have signed free agent John Chibuike on a two-and-a-year deal.

The former Enugu Rangers and Rosenborg forward ended his contract with Swedish side AIK at the end of the 2016 season, due to inadequate playing time, and has now signed a deal with the HaMoshava Stadium outfit until end of the 2018-2019 season.

The 29-year old forward who only made seven league appearances for AIK from a possible 29 games, will be aiming to revive his goalscoring form with Meni Koretski's team who are currently in a relegation group battle.

Hapoel Tel Aviv are placed 10th on the Isreali Premier League log, with just three points from the bottom place and 24 points  behind John Ogu's Hapoel Be'er Sheva.
