KAA Gent have announced the signing of Nigeria international Anderson Esiti from Portuguese side Estoril for four years.
Esiti, 22, boast of one international cap having featured for the Super Eagles 2-0 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier victory against Chad in 2015.
“Anderson Esiti is a powerful player with a lot of gait and duel strength and good technical background despite its morphology,” the club announced.
“Despite his young age he already has more than 100 games to his name in Portugal.”
He becomes the third Nigerian at Ghelamco Arena after snapping up Rabiu Ibrahim who joins Moses Simon in Hein Vanhaezebrouck’s squad.
KAA Gent are third on the Belgian Pro log with 10 points from five matches and they host Lokeren in their next game on September 11, 2016.
