Nigeria's John Chibuike has signed a short term contract with Swedish club AIK which sees him in the Friends Arena till the end of 2016 .
Chibuike who left Turkish side Gaziantepspor over unpaid wages has joined fellow compatriots Dickson Etuhu and Chinedu Obasi in the Friends Arena.
The attacking midfielder who has been handed by jersey no. 14 expressed his delight having joined Rikard Norling's men.
"It feels great to have signed for AIK and I look forward to making my debut for the supporters," he told the club's official website.
Meanwhile, AIK's sports director Bjorn Wesström sees Chibuike's signing as availability of offensive options for the Gnaget as they start their 2016/2017 campaign.
"With John AIK we get a sharp offensive options. We have access to a player who is good to be upright and from there threaten in several different ways at high speed," Bjorn Wesstrom was quoted from the club's website.
The former Enugu Rangers player has scored a career total of 51 goals in 208 appearances.
