While at the Botola Pro outfit, Chikatara will wear jersey No. 10 at the Stade Mohammed V, Casablanca.
His unveiling puts an end to speculations surrounding the future of Nigerian who got four goals at the 2016 African Nations Championship.
Wydad currently lead the Moroccan topflight log with 35 points from 18 games, five ahead of second place FUS Rabat.
Chikatara becomes the third foreigner in coach Toshack’s squad. Others include Congo’s Fabrice N’Guessi and Mortada Fall of Senegal.
