Nigeria's Chikatara unveiled at Wydad Casablanca

The striker joins the Rouges et Blancs from Abia Warriors, and was presented to the club's fans and media by club president Said Naciri
Chisom Chikatara was presented to Wydada Casablanca's fans on Wednesday evening.

The 21-year-old joined the Moroccan topflight side on a three and a half years contract from Nigeria Professional Football League outfit, Abia Warriors.

He was presented to the media and fans club by club president Said Naciri and coach John Toshack.

While at the Botola Pro outfit, Chikatara will wear jersey No. 10 at the Stade Mohammed V, Casablanca.

His unveiling puts an end to speculations surrounding the future of Nigerian who got four goals at the 2016 African Nations Championship.

Wydad currently lead the Moroccan topflight log with 35 points from 18 games, five ahead of second place FUS Rabat.

Chikatara becomes the third foreigner in coach Toshack’s squad. Others include Congo’s Fabrice N’Guessi and Mortada Fall of Senegal.
