This move sees Kayode end his stay with Israeli side Maccabi Netanya after two seasons. He scored 13 goals in 31 matches as Netanya finished third in the league.
The 22-year-old is expected to strengthen the 104-year-old Austria Vienna as they chase a 25th title next season following their drought since 2013, with Salzburg on the verge of a second straight title.
"Lary Kayode is a young rising star. He has played for a big club in Israel and decided to join us - of course we're happy. He wants to do [big things] with this change in the next step in his young career and to prove himself here,” said Sport director Franz Wohlfahrt.
After the summer break, Kayode is expected back in Vienna’s pre-season camp on June 22.
"I can not wait any longer. I want to meet my new teammates and get to know everyone else in the club. I am very happy that [the transfer] has worked well,” Kayode told the club’s website.
The Ibadan-born striker is expected to move with his wife, son and mother to his new base.
