Nigeria junior international Nnamdi Oduamadi will be available for the friendly match against Peru in Lima for his first cap. He was called up as part of the five players that have been given their chance by Coach Stephen Keshi.
"I am eager to get on the plane next Sunday to Lima to show the coach that I could play a pivotal role in the team's crucial games next month. And to do that, I will have to be at my very best to convince the technical crew that I'm ready to take my rightful place in the team," Oduamadi said to Complete Sports.
"Playing for the senior national team has always been my dream, and I will cap my appearance with a goal by God's grace in Lima."
Oduamadi is still in line to win the Serie B title with Torino and he said the champion will not be known until the last day.
"The Serie B title will go down to the wire, and I hope we can win all our games to win the title. I also hope Pescara will get the best challenge from Livorno who are battling to get out of the relegation, while their games against Sampdoria and Nocerina are going to be tough because Sampdoria are fighting to seal a place in the play-off too. If we defeat Pescara, we will be back at the top," Oduamadi concluded.
Torino are just a point off leaders, Pescara, with two games to the end of the season.
