Juventus is where I want to be, says Caceres

The Uruguay international has dismissed rumours of a move away from the club and praised Giorgio Chiellini
Juventus defender Martin Caceres says he has no intention of leaving the Serie A champions.

The 25-year-old has caught the eye in recent weeks having been called upon in the absence of Giorgio Chiellini through injury and suspension.

And after helping the Bianconeri record back-to-back clean sheets in the wins over Fiorentina and Celtic, Caceres spoke of his loyalty to the club and praised the man he has replaced at the heart of the defence.

"I only want to play for Juventus," he told Sky Sports Italia.

"I never thought about leaving. I only want Juventus. I am here, I’m very happy and want to always do well for this team. It’s where I want to be."

"Chiellini is a very important player for us and means so much to us that we nicknamed him ‘the captain.'

The Uruguay international has made 15 appearances in all competitions so far this season.
