That's all for now though, goodbye!
Madrid now move onto their first competitive game of the season next - a La Liga clash with Alaves. Milan, meanwhile, still have one friendly to go before kicking off their campaign.
Madrid's final pre-season fixture ends 0-0 against Milan. Madrid dominated the first half but failed to establish a lead after a flurry of chances. Bale would end up a frustrated figure - after a bright display, he won a penalty but failed to convert it just before half-time. The second half was a more disjointed affair, owing mostly to a flurry of substitutions. Rebic and Arribas both came close to breaking the deadlock, but ultimately there was nothing to separate the two teams.
FULL TIME: Real Madrid 0-0 Milan
Chance! Gutierrez clips in a cross towards the back post, where Arribas slams a vicious volley narrowly over from 18 yards!
Milan continue to knock the ball purposefully around the Madrid half, but time is running out for a winner.
Isco is replaced in midfield by Chust.
Theo leaves the pitch after an impressive display - Ballo-Toure comes on to take his spot at left-back.
Diaz departs with Castillejo taking his place in attack.
Tonali makes way for Maldini in midfield.
Madrid carefully construct a flowing move across to the right flank, but it ends abruptly when Theo snatches possession from Marvin.
Milan are looking the more threatening side right now. Their latest move culminates with Nacho desperately hacking away Theo's cross.
Calabria heads off for Milan, with Kalulu taking his place at right-back.
The nine substitutions have, understandably, stalled Madrid's progress: they've yet to muster a single shot on target in the second half.
Tomori is clutching his face after tangling with Marvin. There didn't appear to be any malice, and after a brief delay, Tomori is okay to continue.
Vazquez is replaced by Marvin.
Two more changes for Madrid. The first sees Rodrygo depart for Arribas.
Close again; Milan are coming alive suddenly! This time, Diaz cuts inside from the left flank, before curling a precise shot from 20 yards that forces Lunin into a flying save!
Chance for Milan! Tonali's corner is met by Rebic at the back post, but the attacker can't quite keep his header down from a great position!
Madrid will be pleased with their performance so far, even if they haven't been able to convert one of their many chances; they've produced 16 total shots compared to Milan's three.
Romagnoli makes way for Kjaer in the heart of Milan's defence.
A seventh change for Madrid: Modric strolls off to be replaced by Odegaard.
Romagnoli repels another Madrid corner as the pressure continues to grow.
Vinicius forces a corner for Madrid after a clever pass from Blanco. They work the resulting set-piece short, but Modric's eventual cross ricochets off Militao and away to safety.
Despite wholesale changes at the break, Madrid are still in the ascendancy in this game and they're pushing hard for an opening goal.
Close! Modric drills a vicious effort from 25 yards that beats Maignan for pace, only to clip the top of the bar and flick behind!
Rodrygo engineers a little space to shoot, but it's blocked by Tomori.
Both sides use the interval to build fitness by making a flurry of substitutions. Madrid, in particular, have made six changes that will most likely affect their rhythm in this half.
Bale goes off after his disappointing penalty miss, with Vinicius taking his place.
Alaba is replaced by Militao in defence.
Casemiro goes off, with Blanco coming into the midfield.
Jovic departs with Mariano taking his spot up top.
Marcelo makes way for Gutierrez at left-back.
Courtois is replaced by Lunin in goal.
Leao is replaced by Rebic in attack.
Madrid get the second 45 underway.
This game is more about fitness than the result, of course, so will Ancelotti and Pioli be tempted to make changes at the interval? The likes of Vinicius and Odegaard are waiting in reserve for Madrid, while Milan can call upon Rebic and new signing Ballo-Toure among others.
Madrid and Milan go into half-time in this prestige friendly at Worthersee Stadion level at 0-0. Madrid had the better of things in the first half and had a glorious chance to open the scoring five minutes before the interval, only for Bale to miss a penalty that he had himself won.
45' + 1'
HALF-TIME: REAL MADRID 0-0 MILAN
Tonali did not have the pace to keep up with Bale a little earlier but he does well to stop the run of Rodrygo down the Madrid left. Another corner for Ancelotti's men, which ultimately comes to little.
Milan will wonder exactly how they are heading into half-time all square. Madrid have had plenty of chances to take the lead over the last 15 minutes, not least from that Bale penalty.
Bale will be kicking himself after missing from 12 yards. That was the perfect opportunity for the Welshman to build some confidence, but he could not get the better of Maignan.
PENALTY SAVED! Having done so well to win the penalty, Bale steps up to take the spot-kick and is denied by Maignan. It was a poor attempt, in truth, with Bale's effort lacking any real pace and being easily kept out by Maignan to his right.
Calabria is booked for bringing down Bale. Further punishment could arrive shortly as Bale is stepping up to take the penalty...
PENALTY TO MADRID!! Brilliant play from Bale! The Madrid forward gets between Tonali and Calabria and charges towards goal. Calabria makes contact with Bale inside the box and the referee points to the penalty spot.
Another half-chance for Madrid comes and goes. A corner from the left is met by Bale, but he cannot guide his header on target from 12 yards.
Rodrygo bursts past Calabria down the Madrid left far too easily. He looks up and tries to pick out a team-mate from the byline, but the cross is cut out by Tomori in the centre. Milan could do with half-time!
There is some more nice interplay between Madrid's midfield and forward players, but an attempted throughball from Bale trickles all the way through.
Madrid are completely dominating this game now – and even Bale looks right up for this friendly. The Welshman's shot from 20 yards bounces just wide of the target, though Maignan may well have had that covered down to his left.
Bale tries to take the ball past Hernandez but the Madrid forward loses his footing and this latest Madrid attack comes to an end.
SAVE! Alaba pulls the trigger from range and Maignan has to get down to push the ball to safety. It was not the cleanest of strikes and is one the new Milan keeper was always expected to save.
Madrid have had 56 per cent of the ball in the opening half an hour of the contest. Despite those quickfire chances, it remains goalless in Austria.
CLOSE! Madrid are closing in on a breakthrough goal. Modric's attempt is easily saved and, from the next attack, Isco has time to turn in the box and fires a shot into the side-netting. Maignan did not even bother moving from his spot.
OVER! Isco decides to have a go from all of 25 yards out and fizzes a shot high over the crossbar.
Giroud holds the ball up well and manages to force a corner; however, the resulting set-piece amounts to nothing.
Tension is starting to build between the two sides as Romagnoli puts in a late challenge on Bale following the Madrid player's foul on Theo.
Bale's lucky to avoid a yellow card after a late challenge from behind on Theo.
Jovic and Bale can't quite connect on the break for Madrid, but the Spanish side are beginning to grow into this game.
Leao is causing problems again; this time the attacker drives to the byline, but his squared pass can't be finished off by Diaz.
Jovic heads Marcelo's cross tamely into the arms of Maignan.
Diaz works a neat pass out to Leao on the left, who cuts inside before curling a 20-yard effort well over the bar.
Milan have made an electric start! They're pouring forward with rapid interchanges in attack and Madrid are struggling to cope.
Leao races in behind the Madrid defence again, but his cut-back narrowly evades Giroud.
Milan hit the post! Leao leads a counter-attack before slipping Theo in behind the defence at an angle, where he powers a dangerous shot against the near post!
Early nerves for Maignan, who hits an awkward clearance straight to Rodrygo on the edge of the box! However, the attacker's touch is poor and Milan scramble it clear.
Milan get the first half underway.
The players are emerging from the tunnel and kick off is just seconds away!

Milan, meanwhile, will be thrilled to see new signings, Maignan and Giroud, in action today.
Madrid fans will be excited to see new signing Alaba in the starting lineup today. The defender – who recently joined from Bayern Munich – will be key to their hopes this season.
