Commentary

That's all for now though, goodbye!
The result means Bayern move four points clear of RB Leipzig at the top of league, while Stuttgart remain in eighth.
Even with only 10 men, Bayern pull off an emphatic 4-0 victory over Stuttgart. For the visitors, the game started so promisingly: Stuttgart had plenty of chances early on and then Davies' red card gave them extra hope. But Bayern responded ruthlessly. In the space of six first-half minutes, Lewandowski scored twice, with a Gnabry goal in between to take the game away from the away side. Lewandowski secured his hat-trick before half time, with a fine low finish to sap any remaining morale away from Stuttgart. The second half was a more sedate affair, with the hosts strolling to victory, but this will go down as a statement win for Bayern.

10 man Bayern lead 4-0 at the break, after sinking Stuttgart with a sensational five-minute burst. The hosts looked in trouble early on, when Davies was sent off for a dangerous challenge on Endo, but they responded to the setback in emphatic fashion. In the space of five minutes, Lewandowski hit a double and Gnabry scored in between to all but seal a win. Stuttgart were visibly shocked by this clinical, attacking burst and they struggled ever since. The players are emerging from the tunnel and kick off is just seconds away!
Stuttgart will sense vulnerabilities in the hosts today, though. Bayern have conceded a goal in each of their last nine Bundesliga home games (last happened in 2018) – they last waited longer for a clean sheet at home in 2008 under Jürgen Klinsmann (12 straight games).
Stuttgart also make two changes after defeating Hoffenheim: Ahamada replaces Mangala, while Forster makes way for Coulibaly.
Bayern make two changes to the side that beat Lazio 2-1 during the week: Hernandez and Joshua Kimmich are replaced by Sule and Davies.
