Who starred and who struggled for Australia against Colombia?

The Socceroos put in a much improved performance against Colombia at Craven Cottage as they held out for a 0-0 draw.

With Bert van Marwijk making a number of changes to the side that lost 4-1 to Norway, Australia showed solidarity across the park.

One midfielder in particular stood out while a keeper had a debut to remember.

Scroll down for the ratings for all the Socceroos in action this morning...

  1. Brad Jones

    Rating: 6

Quiet game for the Feyenoord man who was withdrawn as planned after 45 minutes. Good distribution but caught out some what with a cross early on that was luckily headed wide.

    Josh Risdon

    Rating: 7

Great all-round performance in the first half before fading in the second with Colombia particularly potent down his side.

  3. Milos Degenek

    Rating: 7

Another strong performance from the centre-back who will be hard to dislodge when Trent Sainsbury and Matthew Jurman return to fitness.

    Mark Milligan

    Rating: 5

Played his part in the backline but caught out aerially on occassion.

  5. Aziz Behich

    Rating: 5

A no thrills performance from Behich which is probably what van Marwijk would have wanted. Didn't show much going forward, but did his job at the back.

  6. Mile Jedinak

    Rating: 4

Sloppy in possession and a touch off the pace against a speedy Colombian outfit, the Socceroos skipper underwhelmed at Craven Cottage. With so much competition in the midfield, could van Marwijk be tempted to give someone else a start there before the World Cup?

    Massimo Luongo

    Rating: 9

A brilliant performance from the QPR man who showed real quality going forward and wasn't afraid to put his foot in at the back. Nearly scored a fine solo goal in the second half after beating three men in the box and firing a strong shot straight at the keeper.

    Matthew Leckie

    Rating: 7

Undoubtedly Australia's best option down the right. Never stops running and notably played a crucial role getting back against Colombia

  9. Tom Rogic

    Rating: 6

Was swarmed by Colombian shirts throughout the game so didn't get much of a chance to shine but was solid and lasted a rare 80 minutes.

  10. Andrew Nabbout

    Rating: 6

Played in his more preferred left wing position, Nabbout looked a lot more effective and didn't do his chances of claiming the position moving forward any harm.

    Tomi Juric

    Rating: 6

Didn't get involved all that much but held the ball up well and rifled a shot just wide from a tight angle late in the first half.

  12. Danny Vukovic

    Rating: 7

Replaced Jones ay halftime and though he gave away a late penalty in his Socceroos debut, he made amends with a tremendous low save to keep a clean sheet.

  13. Tim Cahill

    Rating: 5

Came on after an hour and barely touched the ball as Colombia dominated play.

    Other substitutes

Robbie Kruse, James Troisi, Nikita Rukyavitsya and Jackson Irvine all made late cameos but didn't have a chance to make an impression.
