After just 13 minutes, the home team earned a penalty, which Tito Okello calmly slotted in. However, the South Africans quickly responded as Oswin Appollis netted the equaliser.&nbsp;Then, right on the stroke of halftime, Appollis struck again, giving Bafana a 2-1 lead going into the break.In the second half, Sudan leveled the score in the 58th minute through Valentino Yuel. On the stroke of final whistle, Thalente Mbatha struck a late winner to see South Africa secure a 3-2 victory and maximum points.&nbsp;

Appollis has been in excellent form for Bafana, capping off his outstanding performances with a well-earned brace.

After fighting back to try and get a point out of the match, South Sudan once again failed to earn points in Group K.
