  • Kelechi Iheanacho

Which African Star can fit Kane's shoes?

Goal lists some of the continent's best forward who could be considered by Spurs if their captain leaves.
  • Patson Daka Salzburg

The Zambia attacker has been red-hot for Red Bull Salzburg this season. Having scored 27 goals and managed four assists in 28 matches in the Austrian Bundesliga, the 22-year-old can be considered by the North London side as a replacement for their captain.
  • Kelechi Iheanacho Leicester City

    Kelechi Iheanacho

The Nigeria international is coming off his best season in the Premier League with Leicester City. In the concluded season, the West African scored 12 goals in 25 league matches. His experience in the English game would be a plus to Spurs and he could continue from where Kane left off.
  • Paul Onuachu Genk 2019-20

    Paul Onuachu

The Nigeria striker has been arguably the most dangerous player in Belgium, where he has a constant threat for heavyweights Genk. The 27-year-old forward has scored 33 goals and contributed five assists in 38 league matches for his team this season. Those figures suggest he could be an astute replacement for the Spurs captain.
  • En-Nesyri

    Youssef En-Nesyri

The Morocco international is another top striker who could be considered by Tottenham Hotspur. He helped Sevilla, at one point, look favourites to land the La Liga title, and ultimately scored 18 goals in 38 matches to help his team qualify for the Uefa Champions League next season.
  • Simy Nwankwo of Crotone

    Simeon Nwankwo

The third Nigerian on our list, the player commonly referred to as Simy could effectively fit Kane's shoes owing to his poaching instincts in the danger zone. In Italy, the 29-year-old managed to score 20 goals for the struggling Crotone side last season, who were eventually relegated from Serie A despite his contributions.
