The 19-year-old has been the driving force in midfield for England, having been afforded a free role, with Declan Rice and Jordan Henderson doing the defensive work.Bellingham acts as the link between defence and attack and already has one goal. He averages 93 per cent pass success rate while his vision and energy will make Senegal’s task difficult. The midfielder also likes to get into the box and it is from here that he got his goal against Iran.The teenager is also good at opening up tight defences and he will be the key supplier for Kane, Foden and Marcus Rashford, meaning Senegal will have to watch him closely.

Jude Bellingham

The Manchester United forward is among the leading scorers at the World Cup having scored three and as his two goals against Wales demonstrated, he can be dangerous when given space to attack.He excels when afforded time and space on the left and he is set to pose great danger to Senegal right-back Youssouf Sabaly. Rashford thrives the most against attacking fullbacks who leave him with room to attack and the only way to stop him would be to stay put.Senegal will also hope that he is deployed on the right where he is less effective but they will have to avoid giving away set pieces in dangerous areas given how good he can be on free-kicks as Wales discovered the hard way on matchday three.

Marcus Rashford

Trippier started England’s first two games against Iran and the United States before he dropped to the bench against Wales.Southgate uses the Newcastle United right-back against teams that sit deep and he could be recalled against Senegal.Trippier acts as another attacking outlet on the right for England given his tendency to push higher and deliver pin-point crosses. He is also good at free-kicks and taking corners, another area that could be key to winning the game if Senegal make it difficult to break them down.

Kieran Trippier

Likely start on the bench, the Arsenal winger is another dangerman whom Senegal will have to be wary of.He scored twice in England’s opener against Iran while playing on the right wing and it is where he will likely feature from if he is involved.It could be a tough evening for Senegal left-back Ismail Jakobs who will have to deal with Foden and then Saka but the Teranga Lions can nullify the threat by staying compact.
