With the match deadlocked at 1-1 in the third minute of stoppage time, Lloris collected the ball at the top of his penalty area and, instead of clearing it to safety, decided to take a touch around an advancing Swedish attacker. With acres of space to put the ball, he struck it toward midfield, where Ola Toivonen quickly pounced and unleashed a half-field lob into the empty French goal.

This mistake from the French captain gave Sweden the win in the final seconds! https://t.co/BTNoVlM6CO
Toivonen's goal sent the Friends Arena in Solna into raptures, and was virtually the last kick of the game. The victory allowed Sweden to pull level on points with France atop Group A, with the Swedes holding a slight advantage due to a superior goal differential.
