Victor Wanyama vows to return stronger from injury

Victor Wanyama has thanked Kenyan fans who staged a procession to wish him a quick recovery on Saturday.

The former Southampton player, who has been an integral part of Mauricio Pochettino's team since signing for Spurs in June 2016, has missed the majority of this season, playing just 98 minutes in two English Premier League games.

And on Saturday, a group of local fans staged a procession in support of the injured Kenyan captain. Spotted holding ‘Get Well Soon placard’ on the streets of Machakos town, the fans said they hoped Wanyama copes with the injury.
