Ulinzi Stars coach Dunstan Nyaudo will use the ongoing Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) games in Nanyuki to scout for more talents.
With the KPL season set to kick off early November as FKF institute changes to align the domestic league with the Caf calendar, there will be minimal time for transfers business. Thus, Nyaudo wants to use his time in Nanyuki to identify a few raw talents during the inter brigade games.
The games, that attracted 14 teams, commenced on Monday, October 1. Nyaudo told unlinzistarsfc.com that he has already spotted a few good players he feels will add value to the KPL side.
Nyaudo's aim is to pick 10 players from the games, with a key focus on midfielders and strikers but he says he will whittle them down to about five who will then join the team for the coming season.
“I am looking for a few fresh legs to boost our ranks. I definitely want players who will add value to the team and of course looking at the fact that next season set to start almost immediately after this.
“I have identified a few players already but in mind, I am thinking of 10, who will join us for preseason then I will trim down to five with my key focus being on midfielders and strikers,” Nyaudo was quoted by the official club website.
