Coach Nyangweso has blamed the outcome on the referee, whom he claims denied them two clear goals and also did not give a penalty.

“The referee not only deprived us of two genuine goals in the first half but she also did not give us a clear penalty in the second half,” Nyangweso told KPL official website.

His Bandari counterpart Paul Nkata praised his charges for the solid display that saw them grind maximum points. “At last my boys managed to make the home fans return home happy for winning this game especially against such a good and accomplished team as Ulinzi Stars.”
