Heberty is back
Heberty Fernandes had failed to really play to his potential in the last two matches for SCG Muangthong United, struggling along with his side as he didn’t score or really make an impact on the game. But on Matchday 3, it was different and we have seen the revitalisation of the Brazilian.
He looks sharp, he looks dynamic, and he looks like the player that led Muangthong to many good results last year. Heberty bagged one goal, one assist and was the man of the match as the Kirins swept past Chiangmai FC 2-0 at SCG Stadium. His form thus far suggests that he is back to his best.
Buriram may have their mojo back
The defending champions notched up their first win of the season with a 2-0 victory over PT Prachuap at the Chang Arena. The Thunder Castles had only scored two goals and two points ahead of Sunday’s game, but their performance against the Killer Wasp was more like the title winning Buriram United of last season.

Which teams could be in trouble?
After Matchday 3, the table starts to take a bit of shape. It is looking like Port FC and True Bangkok United will be contesting for the title, and there are a few teams that look like they could be in trouble.
Newly promoted side Chiangmai FC are bottom of the table and have looked poor this season. They need to adapt quickly in this stage of competition. The lack of goals still haunts Suphanburi and may continue to haunt them throughout the year.
Chonburi are also the side that need to be worried as they sit at the 15th place right now. Jukkapant Punpee needs to turn his side’s form immediately, or his side could find themselves in the relegation scrap.
It is too early to say any side is doomed, but these three plus the likes of Trat, Chainat Hornbill and Sukhothai FC could find themselves in an unwanted position in a few weeks time of things do not improve.
