Victorian NPL side Dandenong City is making a play for four ex-A-League stars headlined by former Melbourne Victory skipper Carl Valeri.
The Covert Agent can reveal Valeri is among the quartet interesting Dandenong City, which also includes Brendon Santalab, Eugene Galekovic and Adrian Leijer.
Valeri, 33, played his last game for Melbourne Victory in last weekend's 6-1 semi-final defeat to Sydney FC after confirming his retirement in the weeks leading up to the end of the campaign.
Glory striker Santalab will retire from the top-flight following Perth's Grand Final against Sydney FC on Sunday, while Galekovic hung up the gloves once Melbourne City's season ended versus Adelaide in the elimination final.
Dandenong City's aggressive recruiting spree follows their slow start to the campaign, winning only two of their first 12 games to sitting second-last with seven points.
The club was promoted from NPL2 after a successful season in 2018.
