After luring former Nakumatt coach Melis Medo to their ranks, Sofapaka are set to sign at least six more players in preparation for next season.
Sofapaka have release eight players so far but Batoto ba Mungu only have a budget for six according to the club president.
After a rather mixed season that saw them miss the Shield Cup title, Elly Kalekwa says lessons have been learnt and that there will be amendments before the new season.
"This is going be a good season for us if the signs are anything to go by. We are not yet done with the signings, we will bring six new faces, some of them will be confirmed next season.
"The new technical bench under new coach Melis will do a great job. John Baraza is our son, he is fine with his position and he is definitely going to have a positive influence as he has always done."
Sofapaka's maiden league title came in 2009 and since then it has been near misses.
