The Italians hold a healthy 4-2 lead after the first leg in Rome, but the Bundesliga leaders boast outstanding home form at the Red Bull Arena

Red Bull Salzburg welcome Lazio to Austria for the second leg of their Europa League quarter final.

The Italians hold a 4-2 aggregate lead after the first leg at the Stadio Olimpico last week, but know the tie is far from over thanks to those two away goals.

That loss was Salzburg’s first competitive defeat in 36 matches but they also suffered a 1-0 reverse at LASK on the weekend – the first time they have lost two games in a row since October 2016.

Latest odds

Despite that, Salzburg are still dabblebet’s slight favourites to win in 90 minutes at 5/4 (2.25) or can be backed to qualify at 3/1 (4.0).

Lazio have won each of their last three matches after a 2-1 success in Serie A on Sunday but are priced as outsiders at 15/8 (2.87), whilst they are available at just 2/9 (1.22) to qualify.

A draw, which would see the Italian side qualify, is 5/2 (3.50) with the online bookmaker.

Team News

Diadie Samassekou is suspended for Salzburg, who are free to play Hwang Hee-Chan after he missed the first leg following a one-match ban for yellow card accumulation.

Simone Inzaghi has a full complement of players to choose from after they avoided injury at Udinese on the weekend.

Home comforts

Although Salzburg have lost consecutive matches, their form at Red Bull Arena is something to behold.

They have won 11 and drawn four of the 15 league matches they have contested there this season, conceding just seven times and scoring a whopping 38 in the process.

Die Roten Bullen are also unbeaten in their last nine at home in European competition, shipping a mere two goals in those games.

As such, it is hard to look past Salzburg in the outright market at 5/4 (2.25). This bet will pay out on the 90 minute result, regardless of whether or not a home win is enough to qualify, although having a pair of away goals will surely help them to achieve that feat.
