Pirates' second assistant coach Fadlu Davids has revealed that influential midfielder Mlambo will miss the game due to an injury

"Xola Mlambo is out [through injury], Brilliant Khuzwayo is still struggling with his knee," Davids told the media.

Goalkeeper Khuzwayo, who joined Bucs from Kaizer Chiefs on a free transfer last July, is yet to make his debut for the first team as he continues to battle with injuries.

Davids went on to state that box-to-box midfielder Linda Mntambo could also miss the match as he recently resumed full training.

"Linda Mntambo has just come back from a family obligation and started training today with the team. Other than that, everyone else is fine and available," he concluded.

Furthermore, attacking midfielder Pule is set to serve his one match-suspension against the Brazilians.

Sundowns are placed at the top of the league standings - three points above third-placed Pirates with seven matches left.

Their encounter will kick-off at 19h30.
