Ghana defender Daniel Opare has reiterated his desire to ply his trade in the Premier League before hanging up his boots.
The 28-year-old recently joined Belgian side Royal Antwerp from German outfit Augsburg and has already made two appearances with the club.
"The Premier League still remains a dream [before ending my career]," Opare said as quoted by Ghanasoccernet.
"Together with my new club, I want to develop myself further. I want to get along, prove myself and then probably leave since that's how it goes in today's football.
"When Luciano D'Onofrio phoned and told me about the Antwerp project, I was immediately enthusiastic. Look at the stadium, the training infrastructure. Okay, it's a different level than in Germany, for example, but it's great," he added.
Opare was previously linked with a move to former Premier League champions Leicester City but an official bid was rejected by Augsburg leading to the player’s going AWOL before his contract was mutually terminated.
