It will be intriguing to see whether Simy Nwankwo is given another start after impressing against the Democratic Republic of Congo on his international debut. The Crotone FC forward, unlike the other debutant - Junior Lokosa - is still in contention for the final squad.

Rohr may opt to examine the towering attacker again, although he may also choose to restore Odion Ighalo or Kelechi Iheanacho to the starting XI.

A big decision must also be made in midfield, where Rohr may be tempted to rush Wilfred Ndidi back to the starting XI.

The defensive midfielder is still on the comeback trail after a hamstring injury, and it would be a gamble to throw him straight into the mix.

Finally, it will be intriguing to see who Rohr opts for at full-back, with Brian Idowu, Elderson Echiejile, Ola Aina, Tyronne Ebuehi and Abdullahi Shehu competing for starting berths.
