Nigeria U20 will do everything to win against Mauritania - Afeez Aremu

Nigeria U20 midfielder Afeez Aremu says his side are fully focused on securing victory against Mauritania at the Agege Stadium on Saturday.

The Flying Eagles secured a slim first leg advantage following a 1-1 draw in Nouakchott a week ago and will need a win to seal their qualification for next year's finals in Niger Republic.

In the bid for a win, the IK Start man was handed a late invitation to the Flying Eagles by coach Paul Aigbogun and is eager to make a statement in Lagos.

“I am looking forward to giving my best to the team. Mauritania match is very important and everyone understands that. We are putting in our very best.

“The draw in the first leg was very good for the team and we will do everything to win on the pitch and make sure we qualify for the Nations Cup.”
