Nakumatt FC have confirmed Melis Medo as the new head coach, replacing Anthony Mwangi, who will serve as his assistant.
The American has been in charge of the team for the past six games, helping the team wade their way out of relegation zone to 12th place.
Club chairman Bernard Mosomi says the management has faith on the tactician, who he believes will help the team rise.
"We have confirmed Medo, he is our coach from now henceforth. We have given him a two-year contract after convincing us he is the right man for the job.
"We believe in his ability to take us forward and help us achieve our goals.
"Mwangi will deputize him; we have faith in this technical bench and we believe it is the best," Mosomi told Goal.
Other team officials are Benjamin Omukuba (second assistant) and Stephen Balozi, who will serve as the Goalkeeper trainer.
Nakumatt are currently on the rise after Nairobi businessman Francis Mureithi took over.
Mureithi lauded his chairman’s sentiments adding that he is ready to invest in the team to help the Shopper survive relegation.
