The 23-year-old has failed to make impact since his switch from German Bundesliga side but he is hoping to get better

Naby Keita has stated that he is leaning from his Liverpool’s teammates in order to improve on his performance for the club.

The midfielder has struggled to make significant impact since his big-money move from RB Leipzig in the summer and has suffered injury twice.

The former Salzburg player who has featured in nine league games for the Reds involving four starts is hoping to get better with the assistance of his teammates and coach Jurgen Klopp.

“I am really, really happy to play with my team-mates and I am learning from their experience,” Keita told Echo.

“I'm training with them every day and I am trying to get them better, to learn from them.

“I watch them and of course the coach is always speaking to me, saying 'you can do this better, you need to do this'.

The Guinea international also praised Daniel Sturridge for helping him to settle in on the Merseyside.

“Everybody has been really good to me and my team-mates all come and speak to me,” he continued.

“I understand bits of what they're saying, but the one who has really, really been good with me is Daniel Sturridge.

“He comes to see me, he speaks to me and he gives me advice. He has got a lot of experience and he is really helping me.”
