‘My return will be this season’ - Hull City’s Odubajo

Hull City’s Moses Odubajo is upbeat of his return from his lengthy layoff this season.

The former Brentford wing-back has not played a competitive game since helping the Tigers' win the Championship play-off final against Sheffield Wednesday at Wembley in May 2016 after he fractured his kneecap.

The defender, who featured 45 times for the KCOM Stadium outfit in the 2015-16 season, has now taken to the social media to share an update of his effort for a quick return from the injury.

“Yeah mate, [I have] started my strength phase and if things go well my return will be this season at some point,” Odubajo tweeted.

Although, Hull City will still be without the right back when they confront Barnsley on Saturday in their next English Championship’s encounter, Nigeria international Ola Aina and compatriot, Fikayo Tomori will be available to Leonid Slutsky for selection at Oakwell Stadium.
