The 3-0 away victory against Singida United will be a morale boost ahead of Mtibwa's home clash against Simba

Mtibwa Sugar’s spokesman, Thobias Kifaru has claimed that their 3-0 away victory against Singida United will be a morale boost ahead of their home clash against Simba on April 9.

The Morogoro based side who last Saturday booked a place in the Federation Cup semi-final past Azam were by miles the better team throughout the game against Singida United at the Namfua Stadium.

Kelvin Sabato broke the deadlock in the 21st minute with Salum Kihimbwa and Hassan Dilunga adding the advantage in the second half to make it 3-0 until the final whistle.

Mtibwa Sugar remain in sixth position with 30 points while Singida United drop to fifth place with 36 points.

“We knew that the game will be tough but we put in some extra effort, that’s why we won, this victory will boost our morale ahead of Simba clash,” said Kifaru.
