Orlando Pirates coach Milutin Sredojevic says his charges will have to be ruthless in Saturday's Soweto Derby against Kaizer Chiefs.

The Buccaneers were held to a goalless draw by Tunisian giants Esperance in the Caf Champions League Group B match at the Orlando Stadium over the weekend.

Bucs had a legitimate goal ruled out for offside, but Micho refused to comment on the goal.

"My job is to coach together with the technical team. I don't belong to the (group) of people that are looking elsewhere," Sredojevic told the media.

"Even if I say anything negative, it will not help us in whatever way. We need to now analyse and see how we can get better because the next game against Kaizer Chiefs and again against Esperance will demand much better (performance)," he added.

Pirates were also unfortunate not to be awarded a penalty when Thembinkosi Lorch was fouled in the Esperance box.

"Those things (penalty call, disallowed goal) we leave to you our respected friends to judge. People have seen elsewhere, but I will not comment," he insisted.

Sredojevic has now turned his focus to Bucs' titanic Premier Soccer League (PSL) match against Amakhosi.

"In all aspects of the game, we outplayed the opponent (Esperance). Now we need to plan for the Derby against Chiefs," Sredojevic said.

"We need to be more ruthless, more than we gave (against Esperance)," he concluded.

The Soweto Derby is scheduled to take place at the FNB Stadium in Johannesburg.
