The Super League match between Melaka United and Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT) last week produced some pulsating football, as well as late-match and post-match drama. Woo-Young Jeon netted the home side's equaliser two minutes from the end of fulltime, to earn them a 1-1 draw against the league leaders.

But it also produced a moment of pure hilarity, and luckily for the fans it was captured on video.

Trying to run out the clock following the equaliser, Melaka's star striker Ilija Spasojević tried shielding the ball near JDT's left corner flag, and JDT's Mahali Jasuli, Kunanlan Subramaniam and Shakir Shaari immediately cornered the Montenegrin, sending him sprawling onto the pitch.

But Spasojević's teammate, Surendran Ravindran, all this while simply observing the tussle from five meters away, spotted that the ball was still in play and piled in on the action.

Strangely enough, while the three opponents were careful enough not to step on the striker, the winger barged in wily-nily and can be seen accidentally stepping on his teammate's family jewel, as a result of his over-enthusiasm.

Spasojević can then be seen yowling in pain, and no one in their right mind would say he was faking it to waste time.

Thankfully the striker could see the humour in the incident. On Friday, Spasojević posted a footage of the incident, and tagged Surendran along with a hilarious caption.

"When your teammate forgets you're on the same side...

"Untungnya saya sudah punya anak (Luckily I've already had a child)..." quipped the 2016 Premier League topscorer.

Opponents beware; if Surendran wouldn't think twice about doing this to a teammate's manhood, just imagine what he would do to them!
