The Porcupine Warriors’ boss says the former Ghana international did not act right in running to the media to air his frustrations at the club

Asante Kotoko coach Steven Polack is unhappy with goalkeeper Ernest Sowah following the shot-stopper’s recent outburst over limited first team opportunities.

The wantaway netminder recently lashed out at the Porcupine Warriors’ hierarchy on radio, categorically stating his desire to terminate his contract, which is set to run out later this year.

The former Don Bosco man was even incensed by accusations of bribery following a 2-1 league defeat at Liberty Professionals last season.

‘’He [Sowah] has been on the radio, saying things, and for me, it is very unprofessional,” Polack said, as reported by Myjoyonline.

“If you got a problem, speak with your employers before you start running to the public.

“I believe management will meet and see what the next move will be, but for now, we have three good goalkeepers and I'm not thinking about him [Sowah] whether he is experienced or not.”

As a free-agent, Sowah joined Kotoko in 2015 after he cancelled his contract with Congolese side CS Don Bosco over unpaid salaries.

The 29-year-old has had past stints with Tema Youth and Berekum Chelsea, and was a member of Ghana’s squad at the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations tournament.
