Juventus v Lazio Betting: Back Bianconeri to pick up where they left off

This year's Italian Super Cup is a repeat of the Coppa Italia final from May, where Juventus beat Lazio 2-0 in the Stadio Olimpico.

Lazio's home stadium will host Sunday's fixture once more as Juve look to continue their dominance over their rivals from the capital. The Italian champions boast an extremely strong record against the Biancocelesti, with Lazio failing to win any of their previous 14 meetings in all competitions.

Of those 14 meetings, Juve have won 13 and given that record it is perhaps surprising to find them priced as big as 17/20 (1.85) with Genting to claim another victory.

Lazio, for their part, are offered at 3/1 (4.00) while the draw can be backed at 12/5 (3.40)

There will naturally be plenty of interest in the price outright for Juventus to win, and when the strongest team in Italy are offered close to evens for a domestic game, it is generally worth taking.

However, there could be even more value to be had in backing the Turin outfit to win to nil at the highly tempting price of 15/8 (2.88). This selection has paid out in each of the last seven meetings and in 10 of the last 14, with the price offered making it an unmissable selection.

If Juve look likely to win without conceding, then a handicap bet could be a solid option as well with the champions priced at 21/10 (3.10) to win with a -1 handicap.

This selection has proved profitable in five of the last seven matches between the sides and could be an interesting way to get even more value from backing a comfortable victory for Max Allegri's men against a team they have consistently dominated.

These two sides met in the Super Cup back in 2015 with Juve winning 2-0, while their meeting in the 2013 edition of the fixture saw them triumph by a 4-0 scoreline.
