John Baraza predicts a tough game as Sofapaka squares it out against Bandari

Bandari are currently second on the log with 58 points, Sofapaka are placed fifth on 50 points

Sofapaka's clash against Bandari will be a tight one when both teams face off in the return leg in Mombasa, according to coach John Baraza.

Bandari inflicted a 3-0 defeat against the former Kenyan Premier League champions in the opening leg, but even though Baraza wasn’t in charge then, the tactician has firmly instructed his players to make sure that they get the last laugh.

Both sides are separated by eight points on the log and a win for either side will be more of a bragging right now that the title is already sealed by Gor Mahia.

On Bandari stands will be Bernard Mwalala, Baraza’s striking partner at Yanga SC. “I want to believe that the team which will be clinical in front of goal will carry the day. Mombasa is not one of the best hunting grounds, but I have instructed mu charges to give Bandari pound for pound,” Baraza was quoted by Sofapakafc.co.ke.

Baraza is likely to field Rwandese international Mico Justin who missed Sunday’s 1-0 Shield semi-final win against AFC Leopards due to the foreign quota system rule for the Shield competition.

While Bandari are currently second on the log with 58 points, Sofapaka are placed fifth on 50 points from 31 matches.
