Captain James Situma reveals to Goal that the brewers have moved on after losing to Bandari and Western Stima in KPL

Tusker FC has suffered back to back defeats in Kenyan Premier League against Bandari and Western Stima respectively.

However, the champions have been ruthless in GOtv Shield campaign and are currently one step away from the quarter-finals. Captain James Situma says the back to back defeats were painful but the brewers have moved on, with their main focus now being on Saturday's match against Butterfly.

"It was hard luck against Stima and Bandari, we gave our best unfortunately we could not get anything from those matches. It is something that has already happened, now we should just get it out of our heads and focus on the next game. It definitely hurts, but again every match is a lesson to us," Situma told Goal.

"Well, we cannot underrate Butterfly at all, they are in this stage by merit. We are going to give our best hoping to qualify for the next stage, it is a knockout tournament and we must treat it with all the respect it deserves."

Tusker are the defending champions having beaten Ulinzi Stars by a solitary goal in the final last year.
