Pep Guardiola’s men turned the party at the Etihad Stadium two minutes into the game courtesy of a David Silva’s strike followed by Vincent Kompany, Kevin De Bruyne, Raheem Sterling and Nicolas Otamendi’s second half goals.
Iheanacho was introduced as a second half substitute for Gabriel Jesus in the 84th minute but was unable to boost his goals tally from four in 19 league games.
"Team on fire today. 3 points, goals flying from all angles. Our focus on the next game #godisthegreatest #MCFC," Iheanacho wrote on Instagram.
