Bino's team was held in their first two matches before a 2-3 loss to Chennai City at home in their last match. Bino felt that defensive errors from his team are a consequence of what is transpiring at the other end.
"We have practised in a new formation for tomorrow's game. We know that Shillong Lajong are a side who have been playing together for a long time. The cover a lot of ground and work hard.
We are hoping to get our first win at home," Bino said.
"The issues in defence the last match was because we were attacking a lot at the other end. There is an U-21 problem where I have to field an U-21 player and so I am facing a situation where I cannot field the same defence every game."
Kerala striker Rajesh impressed in their season opener against Mohun Bagan and has been delivering impressive cameos but Bino is not too worried about giving him starts.
"Rajesh is playing I-League for the first time. Due to his second-half show, people will ask why he is not starting. We won't get that explosiveness if he starts the match. We are going according to plan."
Lajong coach Alison Kharsyntiew will be hoping to get his team back on track after two consecutive defeats.
"It is an important match for us because we lost two games in a row." the coach said. Speaking about his all-Indian said, he further added, "It is a good chance for young layers to prove themsevles in this big stage. Hopefull they will learn from this experience and improve.
"Most of our first team players have been with us since U-13. We believe in that build up. I hope one day Lajong players will be known and will get a chance to play in the national team."
