Gor Mahia settle on Egerton University for pre-season preps

Gor Mahia will pitch a 10-day pre-season camp at Egerton University in Nakuru County ahead of Caf Champions League in February.

K’Ogalo will host Equatorial Guinea side, Leones Vegetarianos on the weekend of February 9-11 at either Kakamega's Bukhungu or Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos; the only two venues approved by Caf to host the continental games.

The camp kicked off on January 4 and will run until January 14 before the Kenyan champions return to the City.

Meanwhile, Gor Mahia have released 12-players including Captain Musa Mohamed who moved to Turkey on a free transfer.

Mohamed joins another big name, Kenneth Muguna who also secured a Sh4 million move to Albanian side, KF Tirana.

Gor Mahia also lost Timothy Otieno to Tusker on a free transfer while Anthony Mbugua returned to Liberty Academy after a season loan spell at the club, same as Jeconiah Uyogo secured a loan move to Wazito FC.

Upcoming striker Ian Otieno who signed a contract with the champions has been sent back to the youth team.
