Gor Mahia news: Defender promises more to K'Ogalo fans

Gor Mahia defender Wellingtone Ochieng' has promised club fans to expect more trophies this season.

Ochieng' joined K'Ogalo from Muhoroni Youth last season and has already cemented his place in the team's starting eleven. In a statement on his official facebook page, Ochieng' now says he will dedicate Gor Mahia's Super Cup opener in Tanzania on Tuesday to the fans.

"Today is a special day for me. Exactly a year ago I signed for GOR Mahia FC. What a ride it has been! I thank God for seeing me through my first year, giving me the support system I needed and helping me to cement my place at Kenya's most successful club. I dedicate our game today (Tuesday) to all of you.

"Thanks for believing in me. Here's to many more years of striving and making you proud."

K'ogalo are currently in Dar es Salaam for the inaugural Super Cup tournament.
