Francis Kimanzi makes five changes as Emerging Stars take on Mauritius

The top three teams from the tourney will gain automatic qualification to the 2020 Olympics in Japan

Francis Kimanzi has made five changes to the Emerging Stars squad to face Mauritius in the return leg of the Afcon Under 23 Qualifier.

Timothy Odhiambo replaced Brian Bwire between the post while Mike Kibwage, Tobias Otieno, Abdallah Ahmed, and Jafari Owiti have also been handed starting berths.

Joseph Okumu, meanwhile, will bear the captain’s armband. The match kicks off at 2 pm EAT, with the winner on aggregate set to face off with either of Sudan or Seychelles in the second round.

A third round is also in line and will determine which team graces the 2019 Africa U23 Cup of Nations in Egypt.
