Former Gor Mahia coach lands job in Sudan

Former Gor Mahia and AFC Leopards coach Zdravko Lugarusic has landed a new role in Sudan.

The Croatian has been appointed the head coach of the Sudanese National team - Falcons of Jediane on a short-term contract.

Logarusic was in charge of Gor Mahia in 2012 season before he parted ways for a short stint in Tanzania. The new Sudanese coach boasts of extensive experience of African football having worked in four African countries including Kenya, Ghana, Tanzania and Angola.

In Ghana alone, Logarusic has coached three teams; Asante Kotoko, King Faisal Babes and Ashanti Gold. His immediate task will be to lead Sudan to the 2018 African Nations Championship (Chan) in Morocco.
